Reflection: Checks for Understanding King Fraction - Section 2: Warm Up

This is an important white boarding activity.  As students solved the the addition problem, I circulated around the room and noted students that were struggling. I used a class list on a clip board in order to ensure that I touch base with these struggling students in the very near future.

This warm up was quick and went well.  I like to start lessons with checks for understanding as much as I like to end lessons this way.  When beginning this lesson with a check for understanding, I can then also try to touch base with students during the lesson to immediately clear up misunderstandings.
