Reflection: Flexibility Island of the Blue Dolphins: Summative Review - Section 1: Cue Set

My computer file for this lesson failed as I tried to open it before teaching the lesson.  The tech person at my school tried to fix the issue, but was unable to do so.  As a result, I had to teach this lesson without the Smart Board and pictures.  I had scholars list all words with the de- and ex- prefix.  Then, scholars rally robbined their lists.  Here is the poster since I did not have a Smart Board.  Finally, we asked ourselves, if all of these words have these prefixes, what do the prefixes mean?  Scholars were then able to generate the meaning.  Sometimes you just have to be flexible and adjust course!
