Reflection: Checks for Understanding Demonstrating Understanding of the Text - Section 3: Partner Practice

In order to make sure students know how to answers the questions well, I always have them practice whole group before placing them in a center. I’ll pass out a card to each partner group and have them give their best answer about a text I’ve read aloud. We talk about writing in complete sentences, finding evidence, and answer questions completely in order to receive full credit for their work.
