Reflection: Flexibility My Idea of a Perfect School - Section 4: Closure


I noticed that during this activity, most students were much more interested in designing and writing about their school buildings rather than the teachers inside! Of course, this is fine too. Rather than having a discussion of what students hoped to see from their teachers, we instead had a conversation about affinities and hobbies.

Objective: SWBAT write about their ideas of a perfect school and create a visual that reflects their ideas.

Big Idea: After reading about a very non-traditional school, students will discuss their ideas about what would make a perfect school, and share these with the class.
