Reflection: Connection to Prior Knowledge Setting Presentations - Section 2: Setting Presentations

In a word, yes.  Though no student actually uttered "The Garden of Eden," a few used the term "paradise" to describe their scenes.  I did not probe much further beyond what students presented, in that I have designed this unit so that with my student drawings now adorning the classroom wall, we will be able to circle back to them when we reach the final chapter of the book, which essentially mirrors chapter one.  At that time, it should be very exciting to witness my students assemble the pieces of how the setting functions in both chapters.
