Reflection: Lesson Planning Looking at Real Bears - Section 1: Preview

Scholastic News is a great resource for students.  The only problem with using it in a project like this is next year the article will be different.  To get around that teachers can go into Scholastic News archives and find older issues that can be viewed on-line.

In this lesson you will notice there are not any videos or samples of my student journals.  I apologize for this.  I was very ill the day I taught this lesson, and I was sent home early.  Video taping was extremely exhausting, so I skipped it.

You will also notice several children with dyed hair, it was 'Crazy Hair' Spirit Day.  Usually a fun day for all!
