Reflection: Checks for Understanding Area of Irregular Figures - How do you break up a figure? - Section 3: Explore

The class assignment was really good practice for the students, and we were able to get through 6 presentations of solutions before class ended.  As I monitored student progress and watched their work at the board, I felt good about their ability to solve the problems, and did not pick up on any major issues other than carelessness!
