Reflection: Grappling with Complexity 'Prezi'nt Images About Citizenship - Section 4: Students Demonstrate Their Skills

There were a lot of concepts in this lesson and some difficult vocabulary. I taught a lesson about citizenship in Social Studies class, but the level of complexity is great here and some of my students with language challenges struggled with the concepts. It's especially important that these students using visual organizers to connect ideas. If they can wade through the concepts and vocabulary with help and create a visual image that connects the main ideas and details, they will be able to comprehend better.

As I reviewed the prezi with this student with Deaf/Hard of Hearing student, he struggles with the speech, but ultimately did a great job with the project and understood the basic concepts of the topic.
