Reflection: Unit Planning Fundamentals of Fiction: Interactive Student Notebook Left Side Activity - Section 3: Exit Ticket

After reviewing the exit tickets, I have now come to the conclusion that we have a long way to go with a few of the elements of fiction- similar to the pretest.  Because this is such a broad unit, I want to make sure that the students get practice with the skills in isolation.  It will take us a bit to work through plot and plot events, conflict/ resolution and theme which is fine- all four of those are 4th grade skills.  It's just going to take a while.  It's a good thing Patricia Polacco has A LOT of books!!
