Reflection: Online Resources Presenting Pecha Kucha: Introducing the Senior Project and Presentation Research Unit - Section 3: Presenting Options of Traditional and Multigenre Research

I have found some wonderful Professional Learning Communities online, including the one I work with in the Master Teacher Project. Additionally, I have guest hosted #engchat on Twitter a couple of times. #engchat is the brainchild of Meenoo Rami, a teacher at Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia.

For one #engchat, I led a discussion on multigenre research. I wrote about it on my blog. This blog post includes some student thoughts, embedded examples, and links to student work on Google Drive (used w/ permission). Additionally, there are links to two other posts on multigenre projects.

When looking for authenticity in pedagogy, in lesson planning, in student work, I turn to my PLC, the one that I gather via social networking, through organic conversations, through and from the many wonderful colleagues with whom I connect and learn and share.
