Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Tarzan: The Storybook - Section 3: Reading the Storybook Version of Tarzan

It was difficult finding a version of the story "Tarzan" that the kids would be able to comprehend. The language in the original "Tarzan" by Edgar Rice Burroughs is extremely difficult for students to understand.  I found an old children's version on eBay and it worked fine.  However, the students were very disappointed in this version.   This year, the reason I stuck to the story of Tarzan is that we were able to see the play at the high school.  Next year I will most likely use a different story that has a better written piece.
