Reflection: Real World Applications Tarzan: Live Performances - Section 3: Student Actors - Live Performances

It is amazing to me how the students have gone from being shy and not wanting to present in front of the class, to begging me to do projects that require presenting in front of the class.  We are now approaching the final quarter of the year and the students are comfortable and enjoying presenting.  What a great life skill they are developing.  It has taken me most of my adult life to get over the fear of public speaking.  And it is still there to some degree in certain situations.  How much further ahead will these kids be having squashed that fear at age 10 instead of trying to beat it at age 20 and beyond?
