Reflection: Coherence The Language of Images - Section 4: Teacher's Turn


My kids have gotten really good at sketching, but this was a bit hard because of the animals. I did give them some prompts on whiteboard and ideas about how to sketch. Some of the kids used my images and some created their own images.

Ultimately, the idea of imaging is not about how well the kids draw, it's about how they create images in their minds and represent them on paper. The drawing skill is not as important as the attention to details in the text that are represented in their image.
