Reflection: Continuous Assessment Non-Fiction - Cyberbullying - Section 1: Prompt


We have reviewed strategies numerous times in this class, however, I was still amazed that student responses included – go back and reread as their number one strategy.  We have discussed previewing strategies:  read the title, sub-titles, bold/highlighted words, look at captions, side-bars, and/or other segregated information text.  As you read use – background information, questioning, connections, order of importance, inference, and visualize.  I believe these are strategies we need to keep practicing.
