## Reflection: ELL Students Proportionality assessment - Section 3: Assessment

I was really unsure what the outcome would be with this type of assessment and I wasn't sure how the students would respond. I have not used rubrics much, but I think it was hugely influential in the results that I got. I saw improvement in most of my students work, but none more so than my most struggling students. Discussion of student assessment samples.docx Even students who did not complete the test made a strong effort and were more engaged than they are with traditional style tests. This was very eye opening and I want to try more performance tasks in which students use rubrics!
