Reflection: Checks for Understanding Analyzing Poetry About Beliefs: Using CEE to Save FACE (Day 2 of 2) - Section 3: Engagement: Modeling

 

Looking at my students' responses, I am pleased that they embraced the C.E.E. strategy. I don't think anything could really save FACE. It was a teacher construct that did not represent the students' interests.

Nevertheless, in using the text "We Wear the Mask" for today's lesson, I opened to door for the strengthening of future written responses. An example of a students' response from Lesson #7 is included below.
