Reflection: Student Ownership Olympics WebQuest - Section 5: Closure

Students learned that the Olympic athletes are the best of the best or the cream of the crop, so to speak.  They gained a historical perspective of how the Olympics have evolved and expressed a desire to learn more about how athletes are trained and selected for the Olympics.  They also learned the importance of perseverance, determination, and goal-setting.  Students said Olympic athletes such as Gabrielle "Gabby" Douglas, Jesse Owens, and Wilma Rudolph are their role models.
