Reflection: Pacing Island of the Blue Dolphins: Summarizing Important Information Only! - Section 3: Guided Practice


Since it was day 1 of a new lesson on a new topic, the Cue Set and the Teaching Strategy were a bit longer than I originally had planned. We were only able to spend 10 minutes in Guided Practice instead of the planned 15 minutes. Scholars were still able to get into partnerships and begin to read, we just weren't able to get as far.
