## Reflection: High Quality Task Real-life Systems 1 - Section 4: Homework

I found this student's work the next day, after teaching the first day of real-life systems applications.  Rather than just use the logic that we had worked through, this student tested points on both sides of the break-even point to determine which deal was better when, which at this early stage of their development of this conceptual understanding is actually a nice exercise to go through.

It also brought up a good conversation... how come with the second point she chose to substitute, the costs were not that different?  (Because she chose a point that was very close to the break-even point.  Gosh, math is beautiful, ain't it? :))
