Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Editing for Sentence Structure and Commas - Section 1: Lesson Opener

I have taught sentence structure before and it will not be the last time I teach it. Students need to constantly be reminded how to put sentences together properly. I try to remember every day to remind students to read over their sentences; in order to ensure they are communicating clearly. As budding writers, they need to be continually reminded in their classwork and homework to consistently read over what they wrote.
