## Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Inequalities - Negative Rule - Section 2: Explore

I originally had a mini-domino activity for this lesson, and I tried it with one of my morning blocks, and although the activity went fine - I had one group get it quickly and then they started to get off task waiting on the others.  I do not like off-taskness or chaos by any means...so I made some adjustments :)  I totally cut out the domino activity and replaced it with some simple white board practice - which got everyone involved (I have a rule that the board must rotate around the table, and if it isn't your turn your work must be on your paper).  I was better able to gauge all students' understanding using this activity versus the dominoes.
