## Reflection: Transitions Thanksgiving Skip Counting - Section 3: Independent Practice

Any time I can squeeze in learning, I do! Currently to transition from stations, I play a song that counts by 10's up to 100. I wish I knew where this song was from to share, but it was given to me on a burned cd. When station time is over, I play the song. This signals to students they must clean up and meet on the carpet. I really believe hearing this song every day has helped their ability to count by 10's. I will change the song once I feel this skill is secure.
