## Reflection: Checks for Understanding Christmas Tree Ten Frame - Section 2: Christmas Tree Ten Frame

What I am looking and hoping for when my students use ten frames, is automatic recognition of 10. I want students to see a filled ten frame, and think "oh, that is 10", without having to count each individual space. When I see a student individually counting each space in a ten frame, I know that I need to work more with them on developing good number sense. I have included a video of this.
