Reflection: Checks for Understanding Publishing: For the Digital Age (Day 13 of 15) - Section 5: Closure


I like doing some type of “check in” at the end of each period just to see where students are in the publishing process. This is true in other lessons as well. Check ins, round abouts, exit tickets or slips are all great ways to take the pulse of what’s happening in your room.  They take little time to implement and provide valuable information that is helpful in future planning or in pointing out parts of lessons that need additional time or explanation.
