Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Are You An Ant or A Grasshopper? - Section 3: Writing Activity


In kindergarten we are getting to the age where we should understand right from wrong.  We should be able to identify this difference in the story.  They themselves may not make the right choices, but they can tell you what should be the right choice.  It is fun to listen to their discussion of what the ants choices were and what the grasshopper's choice was.  Some of my boys don't think working is a good idea but they followed the rest of the class and wrote that they would help the ants collect food.
