Reflection: Performance Tasks Text Structures-Review - Section 3: Assessment

 

The students all did a fantastic job with the assessment! They demonstrated mastery and even great problem solving skills as they worked through these passages.  As I was walking around, I noticed many students using clue words to help with identifying the structures.  That part was no problem for most students.  More students seemed to get a little stuck with the graphic organizers.  They were a not the exact same organizers we used in the lessons, so it caused them some hesitation when answering. 

I was very pleased with how well the students did on the assessment.  We will continue working with the structures, but now I know they are ready to tackle more complex texts!
