## Reflection: Math Centers - Reviewing Numbers to 10 - Section 4: Practice

The students who were working at the Counting and Ten Frame Center were experiencing a lot of difficulty.  There were too many directions for them to take in at once.  I stayed with that table for the first few minutes of center time.  I modeled how to perform the activity and then worked through it with the students.  When I left the center, they had one done and a sample page with two done.  I plan to finish the back of the sample and put it in a plastic sleeve for the remaining tables to use when they work at this center.  Students can use the model paper to support them as they work in the center.

# Math Centers - Reviewing Numbers to 10

Unit 3: Numbers to 10
Lesson 10 of 19

## Big Idea: In order to pull small groups during math instruction, the rest of the students need engaging activities that they can complete independently. These centers allow students to practice identifying, writing, counting and ordering numbers to 10.
