Reflection: Pre-Tests Divison Pretest - Section 2: Administering the Test

I designed this test to fit Common Core Standards using writing and explanations as part of the test. I felt that the old test needed the writing components to help students get used to the ideas that Smarter Balance will expect explanations. Students did not have the tests very long. Most everyone's test was basically blank! This unit will be a new experience for them and they will see how prior knowledge about multiplication and word problem strategies will build their understanding about division.
