Using a sample of student work, I created a bulletin board showing off this performance task. On the bulletin board, I posted a description of the task, a copy of the rubric, the Common Core Content Standards and the Mathematical Practices addressed by the task, and the student work. Beneath the tessellations, I have stapled the rest of the task and the rubric with feedback.

# Transformational Geometry Performance Task Day 2

Unit 3: Transformational Geometry
Lesson 10 of 10

## Big Idea: This is the second day for the Transformational Geometry Performance Task. Students create a tessellating design using transformations in the context of solving a problem for the Red Queen from Lewis Carroll's book, Through the Looking Glass.
