Reflection: Discourse and Questioning Bicycle Tire Revolution - Section 1: Lesson Beginning


The POD was a good foundation for the activity in class. We discussed diameter, which will be used in a later unit. We also talked about how to roll balls at the same speed. How would the speed be measured? It was a segue into unit rate that took much longer than anticipated but it was a good hook for the students.
