Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Can I create? - Section 2: Explore

 

Creating the expressions was a fun activity. Hearing the justification for why some items could be combined and others couldn't was interesting. Combining paper clips and staples in a group labeled "s" for supplies was clever. It provided fuel for the discussion we had about like terms.
