Reflection: Positive Reinforcement Integer Subtraction - Section 1: Launch

It seems as though addition is understood fairly well by my students. The lab and practice gave them a good understanding of addition of integers. That understanding was applied to the subtraction POD. I was pleasantly surprised. It did result in some wrong answers but the understanding of the rules that apply to the addition of integers was evident in their approach to the subtraction.
