Reflection: Relevance Converting Fractions II - Section 2: Moving On


The patterning in this activity helped students. Predicting what the decimal would look like was a "hook" for students so they were willing to keep working until they found the pattern. Division may not be their favorite thing to do but this made it interesting for them and kept them focused.
