Reflection: Organizational Systems MLK: A Man Who Had a Dream - Section 3: Extend Understanding

 

I put one brown and one white egg in front of each group of four students to examine.  I did not the kids crack the eggs.  I cracked each egg for them because I do not have parent help.  But if you had a parent or an older student helper, they could help crack the eggs.  But even with just me, it went fairly quickly.

Objective: SWBAT view a video about the life and accomplishments of Martin Luther King, Jr and build relevant higher level vocabulary.

Big Idea: Wouldn't it be terrible, wouldn't it be sad? If one single color is all the color we had?
