Reflection: Classroom Setup Assessment: Subtraction - Section 2: The TEST

I was very pleased with growth. I noticed that their pretest score gaps were not as big as they were with their addition pretest. I think that that means the even in the beginning the rigor of thought and understanding of place value carried over to this subtraction unit. There are one or two 0's on pretests that became mastery of standards in the post test.

This was the second test they have taken and it took a long time. But, I am thinking it was because they needed the time to produce such good work. Time is a huge factor for my class. I don't think we can master standards without being patient with time.

I have created an Educreations Video for you so that you can see and hear me talk about some student samples.
