Reflection: Discourse and Questioning Who's the man? Characters' motivations in "The Most Dangerous Game" and writing a thesis - Section 3: Application: Analyzing Images

I really enjoyed listening to the students discuss the images and going back to the text to support their choices. For some teachers the noise level in the room may be a bit unsettling, but over the years, I have had to learn that there is a difference between productive noise and unproductive noise. I also appreciate when students aren't afraid to disagree with me. After all, I'm no genius, and my ideas are not always the right ones. I want them to get in the habit of justifying their viewpoints and listening to others' perspectives even when their opinions differ.
