Reflection: Pacing Characterization: Analyze this! - Section 2: Mini-Lesson


This Guide is much more detailed and comprehensive than the ones I usually use so the students may need some extra time to complete it. Sometimes I have them take it home for homework or if the majority of students do not complete it during Independent Reading time, I give them more time the next day. I also remind them that they need to go directly to the text to find the information needed for each section, therefore, they should choose a character from a book that they will have with them in their browsing boxes. It would be too hard to complete from memory.
