Games are a great way to reinforce a strategy and there are plenty of games that help students understand the concept of Setting. The following link is from studyzone.org and it gives students short passages for which they have to identify the time and place: http://www.studyzone.org/testprep/ela4/h/setting.cfm. This next link from brain pop provides several different Setting-themed games and activities that students can play: http://www.brainpop.com/educators/community/lesson-plan/setting-activities-for-kids/.
