Reflection: Checks for Understanding Santa's Dice Roll - Section 2: Santa's Dice Roll


While students are working, myself or another adult in the room are monitoring for understanding. Overall, the students did great during this activity. The only problem that I came across was when a student would count too quickly on the die. Once I made them slow down and re-count, students were able to complete this activity without any other struggles.

Big Idea: Kindergarteners love using manipulatives and anything related to Santa. In this lesson, they are engaged in a holiday station activity.
