## Reflection: Learning Communities Comparing and Ordering Integers - Section 2: Comparing Integers

I had to be out for a meeting during this lesson and I wanted to make sure students received the full instruction, so, I created a screen-cast to use with the substitute.  The guest teacher gave the students the notes and used the video to help the students learn about the material.  This is a great way to ensure the students are hearing the lesson the way you want them to hear it.  It was funny because many of my colleagues thought I was in the building because they could hear me, but couldn't see me!

The guest teacher said the students were engaged and taking notes and learning had occurred.

Substitute lesson on screencast - o -matic for comparing and contrasting integers.
