Reflection: Grappling with Complexity Making Inferences with quotes - Section 4: Independent Practice


Scholars needed much more support in the guided practice today.  I took the time to do more explicit modeling and give on-the-spot feedback during the teaching strategy and guided practice because scholars were not able to be independent.  Scholars weren't ready to be independent today because it was day 1 of a new skill/lesson and they struggled a bit more with the skill then I expected.
