Reflection: Shared Expectations Navigating Road Blocks in Problem Solving - Section 1: Warm-Up


My students are often quick to ask me questions about a problem that doesn't intially make sense. Although I want to jump in and help them, I also want them to have the skills necessary to navigate the problem and find a solution. I ask them what steps they've taken, how they think they might try to solve and prompt them to keep trying.
