## Reflection: Checks for Understanding Introduction to Rounding - Section 4: Independent Practice

As students completed the practice pages, this was a perfect opportunity to check student understanding. Almost all students were able complete both Practice Page 1 and Practice Page 2. After they finished, they checked their work with peers.

There was only one student who struggled with the rounding concept. I grabbed a meter stick to help him understand benchmark numbers: Meter Stick Tool. I loved hearing him say, "Oh, now I get it!"
