Reflection: ELL Students Eye of the Storm: Comparing & Contrasting Overall Text Structure with 2 Complex Texts - Section 2: Teaching Strategy


For all of my ELL students, I had them label the four parts of the comparison on the actual Venn Diagram.  Most of my other students ended up labeling their Venn Diagrams as well.  This is something I've done in the past and remembered that it is helpful to do so on-the-spot to help scholars organize and keep track of their thinking.
