Reflection: Complex Tasks CLOSE Soup: Reading a Recipe - Section 2: Look and Find

For this lesson, I selected a  simple kids recipe for students to tackle and practice with. For their first few I want them to practice the annotating, clarification, and the reading process that goes into reading recipes. I will want to increase the complexity throughout the year. Later on, I will look for some that have more complex ingredients or directions. I will also ask them to do more converting with measurements.
