Mashed potatoes came out as the "favorite" in today's poll. Overall, students seemed engaged by the voting and conversation, and it served as an effective transition to the in-class reading. Not only did it engage the students, but they appeared to enjoy it as well; student enjoyment always means increased student buy-in.
