Reflection: Data Analysis Geometry Reveiw: The Stations - Section 1: Setting Up the Stations

 

 An exit slip is great way to judge the progress of the students.  This type of informal assessment can be a teacher created worksheet or simply having the students write a few sentences at the end of a lesson.  The point is that you are evaluating how well the students digested the material that was presented to them.  If the students struggled, reteaching may be necessary and could be done in a different way to accommodate the learners.  Exit slips are an effective way of progress monitoring students and the teaching.
