Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Introducing Text Features Using Biographies - Section 4: Text Features Activity

There were a few changes to the Text Features Search page that I have made for next year (as well as for you!) I inadvertently listed picture captions and captions.  The funny thing is that I didn't even realize I have done it until about 6 kids had asked me what the difference between the two were.  I also added a place for students to put the title of the book they are using to search for text features.

I also will make certain next year that those students who checked out a biography that is in more of a chapter book form, have a different book to use for this activity.  I had a few students who only had 2 or three features in their books.  I had those students look in a friends book when they were finished.
