Reflection: Data Analysis Each Detail Matters: A Long Way Gone - Section 4: Closure

Students were great with this exit strategy today! We have been working for weeks on deep reading strategies and after today's lesson, I feel like my students are confident in their abilities.  All students said they were comfortable.  My favorite part of today's exit strategy was a students who wrote, "I finally get it! I used to just guess what a text meant, but now I get that I have to infer and then be able to prove it."  That is a success!
