Reflection: Joy Comparing and Ordering Whole Numbers - Section 2: Direct Instruction

This is a great way to teach the skill because it gives the students the chance to watch something interactive instead of just listening to the teacher.  After teaching the skill, this site offers a chance for the students to practice the skill before doing their group activity.

As a teacher, it is important to use technology in the classroom.  These students are tech savvy students.  They get bored quickly if they have to work with paper and pencil all the time.
